
Spicy Chickpea Curry
A hearty and flavorful plant-based curry packed with protein-rich chickpeas and warm spices.

Ingredients:
Protein: 1 can (400g) Chickpeas (drained and rinsed).
Base: 1/2 cup Tomato purée, 1 small Onion (diced), 1 tsp Ginger-garlic paste.
Spices: 1 tsp Cumin, 1 tsp Turmeric, 1 tsp Chili powder, 1 tsp Garam masala.
Garnish: Fresh cilantro and a squeeze of Lemon.
Instructions:
Base: Sauté the onion in a splash of water or oil until translucent. Stir in the ginger-garlic paste for 1 minute.
Spice: Add all the dry spices and toast for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Simmer: Pour in the tomato purée and 1/2 cup of water. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
Cook: Add the chickpeas, cover, and cook on low heat for 15 minutes.
Finish: Stir in fresh cilantro and lemon juice before serving.
