
Keto Garlic Butter Steak
Juicy ribeye steak seared in garlic-infused butter with a side of steamed asparagus.

Ingredients:
Protein: 200g Ribeye steak (room temperature for even cooking).
Vegetables: 1 bunch of fresh Asparagus (woody ends trimmed).
The Butter: 2 tbsp Unsalted butter, 3 cloves of Garlic (smashed), 1 sprig of fresh Rosemary or Thyme.
Healthy Fats: 1 tbsp Avocado oil (high smoke point).
Seasoning: Coarse sea salt and cracked black pepper.
Instructions:
Prep the Steak: Pat the steak dry with paper towels (this is key for a good sear). Season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
Sear the Meat: Heat avocado oil in a heavy skillet or cast-iron pan over high heat until it just begins to smoke. Place the steak in the pan and sear for 3–4 minutes without moving it to develop a crust.
The Butter Baste: Flip the steak. Add the butter, smashed garlic cloves, and rosemary to the pan. Once the butter melts and foams, use a spoon to continuously pour the garlic-butter over the steak for another 3 minutes (for medium-rare).
Rest: Remove the steak from the pan and let it rest on a cutting board for 5 minutes. This keeps the juices inside.
Steam the Asparagus: While the steak rests, add the asparagus to the same pan with the leftover garlic butter. Add 2 tbsp of water, cover with a lid, and steam for 3 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
Serve: Slice the steak against the grain. Place the steak and asparagus in a bowl, drizzling any remaining garlic butter from the pan over the top.
